Spencer joined the US Navy in the 1980s and served for 20 years. He enjoyed a diverse career that included working as an electrician and as a journalist. This vastly different set of skills forged him as a jack of all trades. He's worked as a technician, safety inspector, quality assurance and troubleshooter.
Then, he worked essentially as a marketing specialist, communicating about the sailors and the great work they were doing. This formed the bedrock of Spencer's ability to attentively listen to the clients' needs, while simultaneously communicate with them about their tasks and projects in an objective and honest way. Spencer prides himself on working with integrity, a value he learned directly from the Navy.
In 2013, after working in several different fields, which included news reporting, shipyard electrician, and cheese-monger, he was hired as a technician for a condominium maintenance company in Bellevue, Washington.
It was during this time in a variety of condo upkeep jobs, that Spencer learned more valuable skills, which included flood investigation, fence repair, property inspections, household emergency response, repairs and much more. And finally, but not least, he learned that it's okay to think outside of the box when it comes to solutions to vexing problems that arise.
After traveling around and exploring the country, Spencer moved to Shelton in 2020. He found the area to be a nice area to live and he bought a house with his wife. He worked, again, in several different jobs, until August 2021, when he decided to strike out on his own and form Webster Handyman Services, Etc. He found his first client on Harstine Island and he hasn't looked back since.
Spencer is not satisfied until the clients are. However, he is aware that he still has lessons to learn, and acquires new ways of completing tasks that are more efficient. He listens to feedback and stands by his word.
You can trust that your project will be completed to your satisfaction. Spencer also is honest about whether his skills or ability will allow him to complete a client's requests.
Spencer looks forward to creating a good working relationship with his clients.
Perhaps you can be a client too.
